how to make moonshine

Just in time for your Thanksgiving festivities:

First, make waffle batter for dinner. Don't make all the waffles, though. Make sure there's a good amount left.

Then, cover it up so it doesn't go bad, but forget to put it in the refrigerator. That step is super important, okay? DON'T PUT IN REFRIGERATOR.

Alrighty. Then, you just leave the bowl sitting on the counter, for like five days. If you feel like you need to wash it, don't. Tell yourself that your husband/roommate/sister/aunt will do it for you.

After it's been like a week and you notice the kitchen smells suspiciously like a brewery, remove the cover from the bowl. If you think there's a good chance that the bowl could grow legs and walk out of your kitchen all on its own, then....great news, you're done!

I submitted the recipe to Martha Stewart. I haven't heard back yet, but she's really busy.

Happy Thanksgiving!

You came for Thanksgiving! What a surprise!! And there I was with no waffle batter moonshine. You'll have to stick with Corona.

Woot woo! Love the blog facelift. And will this recipe work with pancake mix too? Just curious.
